Just saying hi

Cho

Is that Man on the Moon cuz the World is so Low...
Hey Everyone, been lurking for a few months now... I must say there's a lot of knowledge here to be found. I was thinking about posting something so I figure I'd come over here and introduce myself to you guys first. I have recently acquired 2 RD350's which I will be making into cafe's. One will need a total rebuild from the frame up (thats more or less the only thing thats in decent condition) But that will be down the line. I also got another one thats in much better condition which will be my first build. I must confess that my mechanic skills are definitely on the lacking side, but I've been reading a lot and trying to soak up all the info I can. I would like to think that I am pretty good with my hands and fabricating so that could be my saving grace. I am a graphic designer and photographer so I have an attention to detail that could work to my benefit as well. But mainly I think I'll be bugging you guys a bit for mechanical info as I dig into these builds. I want to do it by myself for sure and I don't have too many "go-to" people around me to help that much. So I'll be depending on you guys. ;D I've owned a couple bikes growing up and I currently ride a '99 Virago 535 as my daily commute.

Well looking forward to getting things on the road so to speak. This should be fun

Cheers.

Welcome to DTT! The RD350 is a BADASS. Love those bikes, and hope to have one someday. There are some real smart folks around here. A couple real 2stroke gurus as well. Im looking forward to seeing what you come up with man. If ya have a few hours (or years) to kill, take a gander at this...
