Well with about a week to go before we leave for Barber, I have a valve cover gasket leak on my CB160. I finally had it worked out to where my dad was going to stay at the hotel Saturday to watch the game and I would go back to the park on my bike. I wasn't planning on riding it Friday so that he wouldn't have to walk around by himself. Anyway, is this a common problem with the sloped engines since the valve cover is attached to the frame? It kinda seems that the vibration may cause it to slightly loosen up with time but I may be wrong. I was hoping to avoid any engine work until the cold season.Looks like that may be this week instead.

Went ahead and ebayed a valve cover gasket. Hopefully I'll have time after work this week to change it. It leaked enough oil to blow it up under the tank while I was riding today so it.must be pretty bad.

On the bright side: those sloper motors are probably the easiest to get out of the frame. Especially for that gasket........

Your right Rich. I'll just let it pivot forward on the lower back mount. So it should only be a 3 bolt removal job... You know how the jobs go that are supposed to be easy!
