Kawasaki EX500 & EX250 Sprocket Carriers

This is an off-the-hip long shot, but I thought I'd see if anyone on here knows:

Are the sprocket carriers on the EX500 & EX250 the same or, by some wild chance, is the one from the 250 a bit shallower but otherwise the same? The post on here where a member is looking for a different size carrier from a different year CB750 got me wondering... The EX500 and EX250 are certainly different bikes, but they have many similar parts and if the carriers could be swapped out it might make sprocket alignment a little easier for me.

Any knowledge out there? Thanx!

Don't know yet if the parts are interchangeable or not, but if you just lay the carrier down on a flat surface and measure up to the bottom side of the sprocket it's 2" or 5cm.

I took the measurement from the flange to the sprocket face and the thickness of the sprocket and come up with 1.05" >< for dirt 8)

Also I have a 500 motor if you need any parts and anything interchangeable off the 250 you might need.

Looks like your measurements are the same as mine, so I'll bet it's safe to assume the parts are the same or very similar. Thank you very much for checking!

Thanx for the offer of Kawi parts. My CL360 is getting EX500 forks and swinger so as of now I have all the Kawi parts I'm going to need.

And to confirm, it looks as though they have the same part # between the 250 and 500.
