kick stand hitting exhaust?

no idea where to put this exactly so ill give it a try here. i have a 1974 cb450. just got a new exhaust on it and the kick stand is hitting the muffler when its all the way up. its only just hitting it. i need about another mm of clearance. anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? thanks for any help

Grind a MM off your kickstand....

This. Should be able to add some weld to give ya the clearance.

problem is everything is powder coated right now. would have to grind it down, weld and re powder coat

That's why rule #1 is don't powdercoat til it's all finished....

What about using a grub / set screw as a stop instead of weld?
