hey guys!

here´s the story.my kawi leaks oil on the left side.she used to lose some drops whenever she was standing the garage but now she makes me a hard time.
>:( >:( >:(
oil on the rubber isn´t the safest for corners.
oil seems to leak from the left sprocket side of the bike,no leaks on the motorblock itself.
she seems to "bleed"behind the sprocket, oil seems to get dragged out of this leak by the chain->splatters on rubber

my guess is that she loses oil on the seal behind the sprocket.
what you guys think?

That's clean compaired to most I've seen. The clutch pushrod seal
is discontinued, but the output shaft seal is available. Make sure to
adjust the clutch and torque the sprocket nut according to the
manual. Someone somewhere posted a fix for the clutch seal
using another smaller seal.

.

i didnt quite understand your answer.
am i right, you say that the clutch seal insnt available anymore?
i thought about buying these 3 parts,steel neck,o ring,oil seal to compensate the leakage....what y say?

27 is the seal, 26 is an o-ring? I have never seen an o-ring in that location.
25 is a sleeve that you should not need to replace unless the seal has
worn a groove around the outside.

.

the parts are from cmsnl.com,from my type of model.

what bothers me is that she only leaks when engine is stopped.
oil leakage during driving is minimal.
at first i thought the copper ring at the oil screw is worn out.but everything is clean down there.

do you think i need to replace the push rod seal too?
seems to be available on cmsnl...

I would clean all the oil off. Run the engine for a period of
time and then check where exactly where the leak is. That
way your not doing anything unnecessarily.

.

already did.

engine is only losing oil when the motor ist stopped.
no dripping during running motor sequence.
maybe it results from the enlargement of the seals when motor heats up?
