Oh man, it is snowing HARD right now, and it looks like the sled might be coming out of its winter slumber, as the bike goes in. For all you who sled, let's see some pics to get this season started! Here are a few from last year:

Very picturesque. But the only white stuff I want to get close to is the salt at Bonneville in August.

i haven't been sledding in about 10 years...it's super fun though. I did fall through ice over the snake river in '98 when the hill climb championship was going on in Jackson Hole. I just happened to be in town when it was going on, but it gave me an itch to go riding so I took a rental out for a tour ride and hung to the back for the most part. Like a dumb ass I was, I didn't pay much attention to the fact that we were going over the river and I just pulled the throttle all the way back and I hit a hole. The ski and I flipped and went under the water. I had to get pulled out from under the ski which was pinning me below the water. I thought I was going to drown though, so I got lucky and learned a pretty good lesson that day.

No sleds around me but the hillbillies sure love there 4 wheelers. Gotta admit that my inner hillbilly wants to get one some day.

Winter is here! We are supposed to get another 10" tonight. Should have close to two feet here by the time it is done. It is -12 and dropping. We spent all day starting gelled diesels, installing block heaters, thawing frozen air brakes, buing fuel additive by the gallon......and this just to get the snow removal equipment out to the customers. The main riding areas are already to 55"+, and it is dumping. Groovy :)

I hear you. It ended up about -20 at my house this morning, but not as much snow as forecasted. Supposed to be cold for awhile now.

Buddies finally got me into sleds last year...hooked after one trail ride. We mostly ride the tight twist trails, till I get a bigger sled.

that snow pro is a blast to ride!!!!!!! my buddy has the big brother version of your 440 it is a monster! putting new pistions in it next weekend!

Rode Cooke City, MT today. Something lile 54" of fresh powder, although it had been blown around a bit, and in places there was MUCH more than that. Snow over the hood most of the day, sunshine, and 15 degrees...perfect conditions. All of our long tracks were having trouble moving, even on the flats in places. The M1000 was pulling a little power, as I burned through 8 gallons of gas in thirty miles, and limped to the truck on fumes. Nothing broke, and we all made it out! A great start to the sledding season! ;D
