joeyputt has a reverseport in the making in the specials sections...I also saw someone picking teasers brain about a reverse port cl175....I believe you will need to regrind the cam to make it work...But there are folks here that know much more about it than I
 
Thanks DesmoBro, i figured there was cam work to be done, which means two custom cams, being a CB450.

There are a few local motorcycle engineering boffins here in Melbourne, including a legendary guy called 'gyro' who have done this sort of stuff before - but i will be sure to get on to teaser and others here for ideas too.
 
That guy did some work for sure, notice the points cam bearing is still in place on the left side. Either the thing doesn't run or he's running the cams swapped.
 
Okay - after my first ever run on a race track with my mostly stock Cb450 cafe racer, I am now determined to build the WTF450 as a race bike.

So - I am doing some research on frames. Looking at Foale, Yetman, Littler, etc for frames built for CB450's and I an not seeing a lot about to get ideas from. I would like to build a Yetman style space frame that had the engine slung under it, but I am not sure if the CB450 engine can work as a 'stressed member' in a frame.

Ideally I can design and build (with some expert help) a period style race frame that takes design cues from Yetman and Foale, something that can allow the engine to come out easy, support a mono-shock swing arm (which will also probably be build from scratch) and then some cool front suspension set up too.

Lots to research - if anyone has any pics or links to CB450 race frames (other than cradle frames like Team Hansen build) that would be ace.
