mechanical ignition advancer (CB 200)

After determining the lobes on my ignition advancer were uneven (thus causing uneven point gapping per turn and uneven ignition firing/improper timing) I decided to purchase the best looking (used) advancer I could on ebay and will rebuild the best I can out of both units. I'll mark up each unit and orient both to try and prevent installing the cover 180 degrees off. Other than that, any advice? Just clean up, re-oil, and use the best two looking springs out of the four avail? A little Bearing grease on the inside that fits on the cam shaft end? Anything I could majorly bung up if I'm not careful?

Also - if you've read the above and are thinking "there's no way this is going to solve your issue" or something other, please let me know.

Thanks.

Got the spare advancer in the mail yesterday and the rain held up enough to get my existing unit off the bike today so I decided to just go for it and rebuild one unit using the best looking parts of the two. I ended up using all of my original except the collar with the lobes, which I took off the newer unit. My existing springs seemed a bit tighter and in general everything was a bit more clean.

I figured I'd post a few pictures of what the advance looked like completely taken apart, in case anyone else is ever curious. I used some 600 grit sandpaper to smooth out any play that kept the parts from moving smooth, and in general cleaned everything up and re-oiled it when putting it back together. Will add some grease on the crank end before I put the advancer unit back on the bike.

Anyone happen to know if there are torque specs for the bolt that holds the advancer in place? The advancer actually moved the crank about 10 degrees before the bolt had enough resistance to start freeing itself; doesn't seem like it'll make a difference but hopefully that doesn't amount to anything out of the ordinary.
