Megaphone help

Hey guys I want to remove the megaphones from the headers on my 75 cb200t without damaging the them because they are in great shape, wondering if they are welded one piece or if they are pressre clamped to headers here is a pic give me some tips for removal please!! And thanks!!

That ring looks like it could be knocked off to release. Never seen that type ofsolution though!

Yeah I tried tapping at ring with hammer and flathead didn't seem to get any looser

Have you tried to work around the megaphone weld just behind the rolled lip? I looks like they rolled a sleeve to fit the megaphone into and welded it to the header. Rotating the megaphone might get it out too. The pic is blurry, but it looks to me like there is black soot coming out of the collar, which leads me to believe the megaphone has slits and was meant to go on the outside of the header with a cinch collar to hold it tight.
