Meltdown 2014: Camp. Drink. Eat. Ride.

I want to, I am trying to see if I can squeeze the $$ out of the budget without going deeper in debt on the CC's. I may have a few items to sell off to make the $$ we'll see.

I'd say probably Saturday. The crowd on Saturday seems bigger at this point and some of the guys won't be getting in until late Friday.

Did I mention: yay! :)

If Austin wants to come on out, he (or if you know anyone else interested) is more than welcome. :)

Alright, boys. I am doing the remaining grocery shopping this week. I need a head count asap. If you haven't given me a definite "yes" I will not be including you in the count, so if you want to come lemme know and I'll have food and drink for ya.

I am not going to make it, my Nissan made sure of it. I had it in for a Pre-Inspection before it is due the end of the month and it is in need of 500 bucks in crap to make it passable. I am doing all the labour except the wheel bearing it needs so I am saving over 500 in $$ but that was the amount I could have use for the Meltdown. Shooting for the thaw now. have just enough paychecks that if I do not have any emergency repairs on shitty vehicles I might have the $$ for gas to make that. Have fun Y'all. I hope I get to one of the GTG's this year to share a beer or 3.

We will really miss you at the Meltdown... but... We will have a drink together at the Thaw *fingers crossed* :)
 
I hope so, I need a good riding, drinking wrenching weekend soon. I am trying to get some handy man work here but there is a lot fewer people where I live now then in the City. My have a small job on the weekend doing some faucet changes for a lady I work with, her husband is off work with back issues and she wants the job done now. If that works and I do a good job she will tell other folks and hope that gets me a few things, those odd jobs get me my GTG money.
 
I'm new here, just found out about this from Scott Dail. We live in Landrum and would love to stop by, but have no idea where? He said Tryon.

Yep. Do you know where 14 meets 9 coming from Landrum? You'd take a Left onto 9 and immediately start looking for my house on the Left. I can be at the Ingles in Landrum in ten mins from my house (with the detour on 14 it adds a few mins).

Oh, yeah! Not sure if we will be coming by Friday or Saturday. We're doing a charity ride hosted by Paul Mitchell the School, where our daughter is attending, Saturday morning (http://greenville.paulmitchell.edu/news-media/blog?id=8d99e057ab714a1a30af0457)--going on our old Goldwing, come home and swap for our other bikes, then shooting up to the Meltdown. I'm thinking Friday may be a better day to visit!

Sounds great! Everyone will be arriving at various points throughout Friday. You're welcome to hang out Saturday night after the Meltdown, too. We have a bigger crowd that night :)
 
I guess it will depend on how tired we are! That's going to be a busy day for us--and we're just gettin' older! lol
