I don't know. I thought the only thing they changed to get the 700cc version was the lenght of the stroke and carb jetting. My screen is too small. Exactly what is different?

It's the ring on the outside of the starter clutch, the one that runs the Hall Effect sensors to trigger the spark. The ridge that trigers the hall effect, the new one is shorter than the old one.

Old DOHC 750 been keeping me busy lately. got new forward controls, and bars. progress been slow. Good news is snows almost gone.

Finished bracing and capping frame. Also took an inch out of the kickstand. Got rebel shocks on the way. We'll see how they do.

Planning on changing things up this winter.
Taller rear suspension and a 2-up seat?
Picked up a Kerker 4-1 , jetted early carbs, and dynatek ignition. should be fun.

that seat has to be painful eh ?

Seat sucks. Going away pronto. Was fun for a season, but anything longer than about 40 miles was awful. Thinking about adapting a sportster 2up seat or the like. Found a few cheap on ebay. Will have to redesign new frame section for the rear. Seating position I find rather comfortable, my larger friends complain the bars are too narrow. I'll have to take a picture.

Buddy had a sportster seat I set on. Like the shape if I could make it fit a little better. Taller shocks are in order.

Going with some 12.5" shocks through DCC to raise the rear end back up a bit to help clear the seat. Thinking about adapting a fender like this or similar.

I think taller bars are going to be in order with taller rear suspension and a taller seat. Thinking maybe Friscos? Dont know if I want a full 7" of rise...

So I didnt like the fit of the sportster seat (or price). Picked up a VTX 1300 seat on Ebay for $50. Gonna need a little clearancing to flush up to the tank better so we'll see when its actually on the bike.

Here's a quick update. Back together for summer, gotta rejet, Sabre carbs I threw on are pig rich top end power isnt what it should be.

But handles much better with the rear end back up closer to where it should be, and bars far more comfortable
