Motorcycle caddy

Been Around the Block
Asking $100 plus shipping...weighs about 20lbs, will go UPS or FedEx from 79416...I don't get discounts or anything so if you're curious about shipping costs you can find them at ups.com or fedex.com...just be sure to add $13 if through fedex for pick-up.

This thing lets you cradle the front wheel of your bike up and drag it around like a trailer. I've put about 20,000 miles on various bikes with this thing.

That's the first hitch I built...was built for straight bike towing duty. I modified that to a standard square receiver so I could swap my bike caddy out to tow a small trailer. Basically imagine that contraption, but in two pieces.

It's setup for a 1.5"~2" receiver.

Ideal for smaller bikes...the GT, GS500's, older standards...not idea for things like Goldwings.

That is all.

Yep.. these are totally great to have...
absolutely invaluable...

just a question, but what kind of tire wear happens when towing with this? normal, less than normal?

You see wear on the rear much like if you were riding the bike...only you'll see it on the oposite side of the tire in turns (leans left on a right hander and vice versa). For my bikes I always kept a spare rear wheel with a lesser quality tire...it simplified a few things like with my CX: the spare wheel I kept the pinion gear removed from which disengaged the drivetrain.

Thanks!
Looks like I will just keep using the 4x8 trailer.

I can get 28 MPG if I take it easy with the Jetta!
