motoretta's return policy

i recently bought a bike cover for my 450 , the sales person at motoretta in the beaches, assured me that the cover would fit my bike, because the packaging was too vage,i tried it out at home and it was way too big, plops all over the place, doesn't tighten at the bottom like she saids,
anyways i took it back today, and the bearded guy there saids they have a non return policy on accesory, i told him i've never heard of such a thing ,and all they sell there is accesory, long story short he wouldn't do a thing , this bearded turd keeps pointing to their little sign on the counter, i left saying his store is bullshit,
serves me right for spending my money at a scooter store, anybody want a bike cover for a 650 or 750 cheap give me a shout,

Saucer, did the store give if you a receipt when you purchased the cover? Store's usually print out on their receipts if they are no refunds etc... So I would check the receipt, many stores do not do that and in court the no return/refund sign just isn't enough, sometimes the signs are there but not visible. If your receipt does say no refund, exchange etc... then you are out of luck this time. In the case you didn't get a receipt at all, we accountants see this as a red flag.

that's a good point, i told the guy that his return policy should be printed on the receipt,it's not, the sign he has is pretty small, i wasn't made aware of it, or i'd never would 've brought anything there, and pretty much any store would give at least store credit , especially when they were wrong about the size,
i think i will look into the better business bureau,

I'd say you are stuck with it. but at least now everybody knows not to shop at "motoretta's". the absolutely "no returns" policy sounds more like a flea market set up than a real store.

snooty is the brand they try to attain, i work around the corner, sometime i would go in at lunch, i could go through, and they wouldn't say hi once, drives me crazy because i used to work my ass off in retail, must be nice not to need business,

don't worry, the college shop ignores almost everybody equally. we've got a lot of members (scooter club) that have spent near 10K on their rides from the get go and they still don't get even a half smile, never mind a hello. ......unless you're friends with the mechanic and visit the shop regularly .... I bought my ride there and I get nada, zilch, in fact, the sales people look right at me and still ignore me and I'm famous - hah hahh!!!!
