My first build 1976 Honda Cb400f

great work.........

but the build was too short... 2pages and its all over !!! :(

lots and lots of work gone missing there. awesome looking bike..

Cheers guys for the nice comments.

Not got that many photos I can show as the ones I have are for a magazine feature and prob shouldn't post them before the mag is out.

Since these photos I have removed the steering damper, was to big and in the way. Bit of a trial thing really as have had them on other bikes.

At some point i would like to install some new idiot lights instead of the stock Honda ones and maybe lower the clocks slightly. All stuff i can live with for a while.

Cheers yorkie I've had a number plate holder rear light welded on my rear loop but don't like the look with plate on. I do like the look of these 2 bikes as long as you can get away with smaller plate .does it need to have a light above number plate.

To have a full MOT it needs to be lit ime sure, but you can go for a daytime MOT then you don't need it lit but need a brake light on the bike. That's what my next project racer type's gonna get, daytime MOT ,no lights (except brake light ) no indicators no main light , most small garages/ bike shops are pretty sympathetic towards old time rebuild projects worth havin a natter with a couple before shelling out any cash :-\

Cheers will have a chat with local mot shop .sorry for jumping your thread Paul .at least some ones commented on yours my thread must be boring lol
