I have to get the new seat cover on the modded seat pan (wrinkles in the front) after it gets altered

ceramic coat the exhaust

wait for the 3d printer guy to send me my custom side cover emblems

so here is my cx650 super deluxe

Curiousity question. Your engine says CX650 on the engine badge. Mine just says Honda. Did mine come from a GL? I called the dealer but they were unable to tell me anything from the engine number and I couldn't find any info online.

the engine is not a stock 650 it has larger pistons (698cc) and a few other tricks

like ported and polished heads ect

so it does rip along

It's flat on the bottom. Stamped 673cc. Maybe the previous owner transfered over the stock badge.

It does. I think when I typed that yesterday I was thinking automotive type oil pan in my head. (I've done far more with cars than motorcycles.)

ok cool i was beginning to wonder

so to answer your original question

the 650 (gl or cx) has a metal bracket screwed on to either side of the block that holds the gl650 or cx650 engine badges

if you remove these metal stamped brackets then the 2 small about 1xalmost 4 inch honda badges off the cx500

motor will screw on

this is what someone has done

no 650 engine was made with just the honda badge they all said 650
