Greetings from warm & wonderful AZ! Christmas came a bit early for me this year with the arrival of a 73 Norton Commando 850. All original but some assembly required, battery not included. My goal for this machine is a proper cafe bike with of somewhat period correctness. By "somewhat" I mean I'll be upgrading the ignition, electronics & tires but staying true to cafe form. The timeline is such that I should be able to ride on Christmas Day next year & I actually have all the blessings in the world from my wife to make it happen! She actually would like to see it on the road earlier than that, but I'm a bit of a realist & want to do it right.
I'll put my $.02 from time to time on various subject matter and if I offend anyone in the process, which is bound to happen, you'll get over it. Nothing I say is ever really meant to be taken too seriously unless I make note of it.

On the plus side you should know that bike inside and out by the time it's all put back together and running. ;D
