Hello all,
I found this site after filtering through a lot of crap on the net.
I'm really glad I found DTT; there are quite a few xs400 owners on this site. :B
I picked up a 78 Yamaha xs400 for $300.
This is my first bike, so I am excited. :3
I guess I could have chosen a better bike to work with, but....eh.
This is the bike in it's current state:
After a quick photoshop of the look I am going for:
I recently acquired some 33mm clip ons,
but I am having some trouble sourcing out some 33mm fork gaiters...any help?
Also here is a list of parts I would like to purchase, if any one has any experience with quality products that are compatible, please lmk.
bar end mirrors
rearsets
aftermarket brake lights and signals
2-1 headpipes
intake filters to fit the carbs (what size??)
-->also what size filter fits the vacuum hose that leads to the stock intake?<--
