One of THE worst choppers I've ever seen. What a waste of a great engine. I'm sure some red-neck pig f*&ker will probably trade his sister for it. Seeing as how its local to me, I'm tempted to look him up, just to kick him right in the balls. Not to mention the asking price.

I love a well done chop as much as the next guy, BUT FOR GOD's SAKE.. when will it end?

Maybe after he bought the rolling chassis he ran out of money for a V-Twin and stuffed in whatever he had lying around. :D

aw ca mon guys...its got a spoiler on the back...so it must go pretty darn fast!!.. LOL.. dont you put a spoiler on the rear to "spoil" the airflow to keep the back end down to prevent hydro-plane at high speeds??!!... Therefore it MUST be fast!!.. LOL!!

Fact of the matter is that choppers are going out of style fast.
Think of it this way:

1) The OCC moved off of Discovery Channel to TLC because Discovery couldn't sell ads against it.

2) Harley and Chopper prices have dropped huge. A friend of mine in Toronto used to sell Harley based choppers for around $22K-27K. He had to sell his last one at $17K just to get by.

3) The last big auction in Las Vegas saw a massive drop in American made bikes and and even larger drop in custom choppers.

It's dying a slow death but the media won't let go ;)

I'll gotta agree with you there Scarcat!! While there are enough really nice, original, good looking choppers out there, there seems to be an over-abundance of cookie cutter crap with skulls and flames and iron crosses on every last square inch of the thing. Choppers used to be what Cafe's are now, hand made and designed by the guy who built the thing in his garage/dorm/basement/living room/hangar. Since the big media frenzy back a number of years ago that gave fame to guys like Jesse James and OCC, everybody and their grandmother jumped on the band wagon making something that was once a personal expression into a money making (or, I guess loosing now) cookie factory. Even OCC can't produce something thats original anymore. IMHO all their stuff looks the same.

So what's the new fad gonna be? Old bikes? I guess we're at the leading edge of that. Quick!!! Horde all the old bikes you can while they're cheap!!!

Hey ... all of the big name custom chopper guys are all making cafe bikes.
Goldhammer, Jesse James ... you name it.
Everyone but OCC.

WHile they are cheap?? Too late for that...vintage market is off the hook right now..ppl asking way to much for these bikes around here, and the worst part is, they are GETTING it...which perpetuates the cycle. Sucks, but used to be able to get a GREAT shape vintage UJM for less than a K-note...now you're gonna get a pile of work, and spend as much as you'll ever get out of it to get it looking and running good.

Out of curiosity, i looked up Jesse James's Cafe bike. Too shiny for my liking, but I do like his Grindhouse choppers.

Dood...ive seen some BAD chop jobs in my time...THAT takes the taco. First off, its horribly done...second WHY THE FUCK would you chop a two stroke?? A CLASSIC two stroke at that...For gods sake man, someone shoot that guy.

I can just hear the guitar now....

Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm,
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

Straight'nin' the curve,
Flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

Just good ol' boys,
Wouldn't change if they could,
Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood

YEEEEEE HAAAWWWWWWWWWW

Ive always liked that song...Always dreamed of owning a 69 Charger...Matte black of course.

well... less than $300 for an RD that needs a new front end, I'd buy it. Looks stock and complete otherwise.

I want a 2 stroke :)

I was thinking the same thing.

That front end is the worst, tho.

hey now that's authentic no money but strong desire!!!

check out #1393 on 650motorcycles.com.....notice the price too.......Are people blind? Is it possible to be that distasteful?

Yeah, seems to happen a fair bit on 650motorcycles.com. Some ass clown stumbles on an easily restorable classic bike for a decent price and decides to chop everything off of it and make it ugly. Not because they want a bike to ride, just because. And then they try to sell it off for some rediculous price. There's very few bikes on there that I actually really REALLY like.
