need help diagnosing a clicking sound

So I bought this 75 cl 360 from the original owner with just 5504mi, since I've owned it I have noticed a clicking/metal-on-metal tapping sound coming from the right side (assuming you're seated on the bike)

now from what I've read there seems to be an issue with the cam chain guide on these motors. Where can I find a new guide and how much work am I really getting in to replacing the chain guide?

I've all tools in the world at my disposal and a few well trusted motorcycle mechanics as neighbors. I just need to know how much beer to show up with at their door when I come a knocking. Thanks in advance

Cheers

Joe

When you say "right side" are you speaking of the right side of the head or the right side as in the clutch cover?

Sometimes sound sound like it come from right side, when sound actually coming from left side.

What I'm saying is, stick a bolt into a big rubber tube and use it as a stethoscope. Touch one end to your ear and use the other to zero in on the sound. You will be surprised.
