Need mesurement from lower shock bolt to ground for cb450 URGENT

Coast to Coast
HI guys,

I need some help.

I want to install some wheel spool on my cb450 and I was thinking about the shock lower mount.

But I need to have some mesurement as I don't have my cb450 next to me.

How much from the lower shock mount bolt to the ground? I have a stand who have a lift of 14" so I need it to be lower than tant...

Kind of urgent as the deal is only for today...

THanks.

i cant measure one now but 14" swingarm stand is gonna be too low
you got 13" to the axle with a 18"x4" (9+4=13) tire then the stud for shock is a good 1-1/2"? higher
you will want a 15-16" height in my opinion if the spool is at the shock stud

Well ok then the dimension is 14 from wheel to top of the post + the spool hook:

Since we're talking about 1/2 give or take I'd like to have the real life measurement if someone can... Worst case I'll try it and resell it if it doesn't fit.

Those type stands usually come with two attachments; one to use with spools and one to rest under the swingarm, so even if its a bit short to use with the spools, it may be alright to use the other way. Post up how it worked out if you end up getting it.

Which one should I choose. I can have the one with spools or the one on the swing arm. I have a round swing arm will it still fit? I thought they were made to fit square swing arm?

I got the one with spool 10mm x 1.25 I'll check if everything works.

All I need is 1/2 of lift.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Thanks.

How are you going about attaching the spool to the lower mount?

The lower mount bolt for the shock are 10mm x 1.25 pitch and the spool bold is the same (Kawasaki one) So worst case i'm gonna need a longer bolt.
