Anybody put rear sets on '80 Suzuki GS750? If so what did you do and where did you get them? Bolt on or modifications needed? Looking for something on the reasonable side of the price range. This bike is not going to be a show stopper, just a fun cafe racer. Looking more for function rather than billet stuff.

Therapy is expensive. Riding is cheap. You decide.
Go to a bike junkyard and grab some off of a Ninja. Doesn't matter what year or model. Take the frame/bike down to a local machine shop that can weld. Have them cut a couple of blanks of 3/8"x1.5" flatbar about 2" long, and drill the holes for the sets. Weld it to the frame where you want the rearsets. Bolt the rearsets on. Total cost, about 50$ and a trip to the junkyard and welding shop.

Been Around the Block
GSXR rearsets, especially gsxr750's, are a very popular swap on the GS Resources Forums. I'm looking at late model Hayabusa rearsets due to three mounting bolts vs 2, & rubber vibration isolators on the bolts. Slightly heavier but nice for a twin to have the rubbers.
