Need reference! My Cj360 build;

Been Around the Block
My little cj twin needs some help and i know the ton has my back! This is my first build so bare with me here. I was wondering if someone could send me a picture of the throttle cable linkage on the carbs. I just need a picture of reference so i know im doing it right. Even on the service manual they're not very clear about how it goes back together. I would have taken my own pictures when the carbs were mounted but i bought the bike in pieces:(

Ah, i'd appreciate any help at this point! Thanks!

Hope this helps.

Ah legit thats what im talking about. Thanks for the lightning fast response! Looks like one of the cables got sucked back into the 'throttle cable housing' ? does that make sense? I think its the return throttle cable. I'm only seeing one cable that has the little stopper end piece. Obviously it didnt disappear so just one more thing i need to straighten out.

Thanks again for the help i'll be sure to post up any more questions i come across.

Upper cable in pic is 'open' lower is 'closing'
The closing wire loops underneath wheel into it's little hole.
Long needle nose plies is easiest way to fit it
To fit, put close cable in position first, hook open cable nipple into pulley then fit adjuster into 'U' bracket
Adjust cables for at least 3mm rotation at grip.
Make sure you don't have open cable too tight, it can hold butterfly open but still feel good

Sounds like the end of the return "close" cable has broke off. It has a nipple (the little stopper end piece) on the end and cannot slide up into cable housing.

Just remove the closing cable and keep the opening one well oiled.
I haven't run both cables on my CB's since 1978
