Just wanted to say Hi, been lurking for a while now. Presently building an XS 650 desert sled, owned a few classics incl a 65 T120 that I made into a TR6 hi pipe tls sled thing and numerous jap bikes. Brought up by an original rocker with tales of his 1960 T120 and rode with my dad until he finally gave up riding his zzr11 10 years ago.Cool site

Love those pipes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking for something very similar for my KZ750 Twin Tracker.

Where did you get them from ??

My original plan was for BSA twin high level pipes [ exit on the other side ], but finding anyone around here capable of the job at sensible money is a non starter.

Look forward to seeing your build thread.

Cheers guys, pipes originally were Rickman either side but my big bro is a dab hand at fabrication, so he altered them for me, with my assistance (I make a killer cup of tea). If you do a search on ebay for xs650 pipes there is a guy on another xs forum who makes them, also a great xs650.com member in the states who is cheap and v good will get his name. Will post build pics eventually, already done one on xs uk site. Started as a SE std model with cast wheels etc

There's a company in the US that makes hi level pipes for the KZ750, but they are not "neat" - big droopy bends. We have Keihan here in Redditch, but they're not too keen on one off's and regrettably a pal of mine pissed them off - so that rules me out ! They made a couple of fantastic Stainless underseat systems for my BMW K100 Fighter.

This is what I want to achieve -

Here's the US system - see what I mean !!

Good looking bike there baldy. I like the uncluttered lines. It would be good to keep it as minmal as possible in my opinion.
XS650 is probably the best looking motor available for a flat tracker styled bike. Looking forward to the finished article.

Do a google on Gordon Scott engineering have a look at his work and prices he is US based but I nearly had my pipes from him until my bro reminded me he used to make 1 offs for people and do all Lewis &templetons and Clive humphries fab work :)
