I own a 1977 CB400F that I have been slowly fixing and modifying for the past year and a half, and I have gotten some useful ideas from Do The Ton members which have assisted me in repairing and customizing my bike. Great community and I look forward to being part of it.
no way from Los Banos?
im in newman, lets see some pix of you bike if you have any.
also, welcome, we hope you enjoy your stay... must warn you though this place is addicting lol.
Thanks everyone,
Yes, I have been in Los Banos for about six years now and it's still pretty small lol. Cool place, I like it.
Here is my 400 in its current state. I have bobbed the front fender, grinded the triple tree (still work in progress) added clip-ons, a manx seat, and changed out some of the electrical components. Since I like canyon carving, I am going to place more of an emphasis on things like suspension and brakes, plus I figure by removing or replacing parts to lighten it up, I can use more of its available horsepower.
Thanks again, it’s definitely going to be a rider. I still have to sort out some of the electrics (new ignition switch, mini gauges) and get a new master cylinder and it should be on the road again soon.
