Hard Luck

Live Fast, Die Hard
I just picked up this 1977 GT500. I have never built a cafe racer and I figure nothing is better than a two stroke.. Im pretty stoked to start the build. I dont know anything about these bikes so I will be asking a lot of questions. I have built some bobbers out of XS650s so I have a idea of how to do this but am always learning...

I live in north county San Diego.. ya I do all the work, right now all I have is a welder because im living in a apartment and cant fit everything in a 1 car garage.. all of the heavy fabrication happens at my house in Northern California, about a 7 hour drive.. I get up there about once a month. I make do with just the welder and grinders until I need a lathe or plasma cutter...
