building a honda cb350, gonna try my hand at fiberglass to build a cafe seat for it. never used fiberglass but ive worked in a vw restoration shop for the last 11 or 12 years so i know bondo and metal work. recently moved so i dont really have any tools, just what i could fit into the truck of my 66 vw bug. this is my first bike, i found it in a field where it had been sitting for 10+ years. changed the points and plugs, rebuilt the carbs and changed the oil and she fired right up. it runs really strong but i changed the bars and cant for the life of me get the damn clutch adjusted out now... i have a manual and followed the directions on how to do it but cant seem to get it to work. i just moved to austin texas from arkansas, dont really know anyone here. hopefully i can get my clutch fixed, build a seat and find some bars i like so i can ride my damn bike. hope to learn alot from this page. i found the thread on deacons kz seat build and thats why i joined. figured theres prob alot more useful info here, so here i am.
) I had a 66 VW too. Got it for a couple hundred bucks, and had it running in a few hours. We pulled the body to replace the pans, and my stepdad decided to move it without asking. Folded it in half. The heater channels were shot and they picked it up from either end with no doors... I have a beautiful 68 pan sitting in my friends garage now. New 1/2s, CB adjustable beam, new brakes, cool vintage 5 spokes, good tranny etc... Just no body to put on it, and my motors (72' 1600) shit. 
Good luck messin with the clutch. Youll get it. Dont hesitate to ask any questions, and if ya get really stuck, I have a good friend in Houston whos one hell of an engine guy. Been building race bikes (offroad) for himself for years...
