HI, I was informed of this site by a buddy of mine who is building a CB500t Street tracker and thought I'd sign up and see what's going on. My 73 CB750 is basically stock but I have the worlds ugliest 76 CB750 I'm thinking hard about doing the cafe thing to. So I hope to get some good info from the participants in this forum.

Wow, that 750 is... really white. Not a sarcastic question: was it a police bike at some point? It may not be beautiful right now, but it looks like you've got it in good shape and it'll be *perfect* cafe stock. Have fun and keep us informed!
 
Thanks guys, I need to something with this scoot as the previous owner rattle canned the thing white including the frame. Except he left the down tubes black between the headers. I am at the least going to pull the engine and strip the bike so I can properly paint the frame and body work. The seat is going too!!!!! I'm sure I'll end up starting a long term build thread as I am going to try to do this as frugally ( CHEAP ;D ) as possible
