New guy from ny - help me with choice

Hello all. I'm a Harley guy that wants to build a cb based cafe racer. My boss is selling a fairly clean 82 cb450T for cheap. After some research this bike was only made for one year. Is this a good bike to start with? Should I be looking at something bigger( I am 6'5 220 lbs) are 750 frames alot different than the 450? thanks for your time. Brian

Welcome to the site man!

I'm afraid that if you go for the 450, it might feel "undersized" for you - especially owning a Harley and the fact that you are a bigger guy.

That being said, a 750 or even a 650 nightwawk might be a much better choice.
