I'm just down in Toronto.
Yep! And Thursday nights there are large gatherings at Tim Hortons at Lakeshore/Leslie, but lately have been turning into a bit of a gong show.
Better might be Haugen's on Thursday nights. I've meant to go a number of times but it's a bit out of the way. 2014 for sure.

Hey Mitchie!! Welcome aboard! Drew from Mississauga here! 
Haugen's can be great, but it's really hit and miss. The first night of the year is usually really good as is the wrap up night. In between is a crap shoot! Weather also plays a huge roll.
The largest group participating is the "v-twin cruiser crowd" by far, followed by the "sportbike jockeys". Some really crazy customs though. The vintage/classic bikes are probably the smallest group, but there are usually some really cool ones scattered in the crowd.
On the busy nights, the bikes have numbered in the hundreds with 300 to 400 packed onto the property in my experience.
Unfortunately, the OPP have been setting up checkpoints around there as well. I've never been hassled, but...
