Thought i'd emerge from the shadows to let my odiferous presence be known..
Lurking in the back shadows of my garage, lays a potential 'bobber' project.. it's been there 3 years now, awaiting equal parts inspiration and perspiration, as well as good health which has eluded me the past two years. Hopefully that is now turning around.
Behold, one '87 Kawi Vulcan 750, in the rough.
Now, in the photo, it looks especially purty.. purty gross looking color that is, to begin with. Other little problems is an exhaust system that is rotten to the core, and just plain uglyness scattered about as only a Kawasaki engineer could love.
I'm set to change that.. radically. Street Bobber, Chop, or just plain make something minimalistically different.. it ain't remaining the same, thats for dang sure.
I'd like a Jap-based Cafe Racer sometime down the road also, but one project at a time as they say.
My other ride is a Bandit 1200 based sidecar rig, that i'm sure others have seen in the flesh or on other forums.. it definitely doesn't qualify as either a streetfighter, cafe-racer, or anything else but weird .. so we'll leave it at that.
