New guy in Houston

I was turned on to the site by a friend that is into cafe's and trackers ect. I'm really a chopper guy however I have a spare 77 hondamatic that I would like to cafe out. Got some cool go fast stuff laying around for it allready. As soon as the chop is done then the cafe starts.

Houston...which part? They have done a lot to improve that town in last ten years or so.
 
Lol. Whadda you mean improve ? ! . . . I-10 has been under construction since I moved into this town 38 years ago ! Still haven't finished it !

I'm on the west side for now. Hwy6 Cy-Fair area if you're familliar with Houston.

The Matic is in the back of a friends garage buried under several of his cb's so there it will stay till the chop is finished. That however wiil be very soon . . . I hope. I have a gremlin in it now and can't find him.

Any other H-Town peeps lurking around ?
 
Kewl. What side of town you gonna be on ? With any luck I'll have the chop runnin by then and get to work on the Matic. I have an old 500 triple that I need to do something with as well. I may try to get it running and sell it for fundage for the Matic. Not sure yet.
 
Originally from Houston here (now in Austin). After getting pegged on my Vespa by some tweaker driving in reverse (not the wrong way- BACKWARDS) on the blind curve feeder of 59 and 610, I tip my hat to anyone who rides in H-Town :-\
