Well hot damn, I love this bike. I'm in New York about 20 miles north of the city.
Will be back with pics soon. I'm still a little slow with the computer.

Here are some pics. I've had the bike about a week. already took off sissy bar and highway pegs.
Superbike bars or clubmans in near future,(tomorrow). Looking into rearsets, and probably a whole
bunch of other fun stuff. I'm amazed at how fast this thing is. :o Too much fun.

nice. i think there is a lot of potential for a very custom cafe. if you can lower the suspension a bit and loose the seat arrangement. good luck

I think these bikes look good with a few race goodies... Clip-ons, Rearsets, Resi's, Modern brakes... Not so much as an all out cafe but sweet in their own respect.

welcome, very nice clean looking bike. looks almost to good to use as a base for a project.
I am going up to rheinbeck on fathers day (June 14th to be specific saturday)weekend are you heading up? if so let me know we could meet up.

Agreed, this won't get chopped up unless something bad happens. However, rearsets, halogen headlight and possibly a Corbin or similar seat are all definite possibilities. Was thinking about a small cafe fairing but this thing pushes a big bubble of air just the way it is.

My little nighthawk250 however is just prime for the grinder.

Welcome, thats one of my favorite models!
If you don't mind my suggestion, that bike is begging for this treatment:

Modernize that baby!

Damn, that's nice. More info on that bike? Is it yours?

CBR suspenders?

I wish that was mine. I'm not sure what upgrades its running, however, its not hard to put modern running gear on these older bikes. This is mine:

Motocross bars installed, highway pegs gone, looking around for rearsets
and maybe a corbin gunfighter. Halogen headlight upgrade in the works.

Heading in the right direction man!

I'm thinkin Blinkers, Horns and eventually the modern brakes (as in the pic above).
Love the bike as is, that being said (aside for the blinkers ;D).

I had the same kind of horn setup, and I removed one of the horns. Re-located the other one behind the header on the oil-cooler bracket.

C'mon dude I LOVE those turn signals.
Look like I stole 'em off a '90's era Volvo wagon.
They stay. they will probably get leds in em.
There's a guy on the CB750 board who put a
GS1100 headlight on one of these, it looks
like an airplane landing light. I love it.

Cool man! If you love it I love it, no offence implied!!

I'm a big fan of giant headlights, btw.
My cafe has an 8"er.
