New Guy kz650

Hello, I've been riding since december 07. My first ride was a kz440ltd and now I roll a '78 kz650. My bike isn't a Cafe but who knows where I'll go with it. I've been looking through the projects and "show n shine" sections of this site for a week or two and I just can't get enough of the works of art a lot of you guys have created. I found this site through a link that anarki650 had on kz650.info and I figured since I've been spending so much time here, I might as well register.

Welcome aboard!!! +1 on the wealth of info and ideas here. I wouldn't have been nearly as successful on my cafe build had it not been for some of the guys over here. Check out HerrDeacon's kz650 if you haven't already, a beautiful example of a kz cafe.

Cafes are the coolest bikes around.
And KZs make some of the nicest conversions.

Can't wait to see where this takes you; keep us updated on your progress... The more I see the middleweight KZs. the more impressed I am. They really are a great platform to build on! Are you going to color-match the front fender to the rest of the bodywork, or are you planning on keeping the one you have?

BTW, those triple discs look ripe for drilling... just a hint...

Orange hell,the KZs are all so much faster it doesn't matter WHAT color the KZs are because the others only see a blur going by them anyway!
