New guy, Toronto

Been Around the Block
Figured i'd finally make a post.

I recently purchased a 1971 cb350 in the intention to build it into a fun little around town bike. I'm a car guy so this is all new to me (read modern "tuner").

I'm more or less clueless when it comes to bikes, so bear with me, although this site is helping that quite quickly!!!

I guess a little about myself is in order, I'm a mechanical engineering designer by trade, so anything mechanical that i can play with/modify i love.
Growing up i was never allowed bikes (long story), but i remember as a young kid my dad having Ducati's, he always referred to them as cafe bikes. It's something that has remained with me for a long time. So i bit the bullet a few months ago and picked up the 350 and a 76 500 twin and well here i am.

An electric vespa i built, it started it's new life as a flower planter, so everything was designed and made from scratch. I confess, i did cheap out on the electric motor, it's only a 800watt unit, but it still goes at a decent pace.

Started off in Pro Engineer.

Welcome Matt.

Good to have a mechanical engineering designer on board.
Could be handy to have with all the mods being done around here.
