New here. Starting a build soon in DC

Hiya gang,
My name is Tony and I have been lurking here for a week or two.
I am in the Army currently stationed in the Wash DC area. My background is primarily with cars, though I used to have a few scooters as a teen and a YSR way back when I was shorter.
The last bike I owned was a 03 Buell firebolt I bought new. Along the way grew some responsibility, married, had a son. Eventually I was hit with mortality on a few gravel traps alongside Palomar mountain while I was on temp duty there. I sold the bike after some time and have missed it ever since.

Fast forward to the present, I have a line of a snotter of a CB750 for 300 obo. It last ran 5 years ago and has sat ever since. Provided that I know a whole metric sh!t-ton about all things with wheels....
What pitfalls should I look out for and is there anything I need to know that is specific to the 78 750's? The title is clear it is a one owner bike that apparently hs just sat out for a whole long time.

Thanks for the compliment guys. I think it tool me about 3+ years to rebuild everything on the 914. Just like with bikes it will never be finished though. I will look forward to sharing build progress once I get started on the CB.
