New in this sport

Hi - I kinda fell right into this hobby. I've been working on bikes, cars, and pretty much anything with a motor for fun for years. I have cars and dirtbikes and fourwheelers, but got a 1980 CM400T off a friend and the customizer in me has this thing torn down already and will be trying my best at a cafe racer to hit the streets this spring. I'd prob be better off with a bigger better bike, but for $400 and not much knowledge but alot of curiosity I want to build a cafe racer. Can't wait. Pictures of the project to come.

So I have all the fenders seat bars off and stripped the paint on the tank last night. I'll throw a picture on later of my progress. Having a blast!

From one CM400 guy to another, get that build thread and pics started. Don't do like I did and get so excited to start that you forget to take pics before and along the way. Looking forward to seeing your build!

Here is some weekend progress, Clubman bars new headlight brackets and working on seat at the moment.
