75 cb750k
I bought a 75 CB750k a couple months ago. Been transforming it little by little. its my second bike, so I dont know too much mechanically. Most of my progress has been cleaning it up and taking parts off.

This is how she looked when I got her

and this is where she is currently.

Several boxes of new parts and tires are going on her in the next week.

welcome! i'm in houston.. look forward to seeing your progress

Very cool man. The 750 is a terrific bike. With some simple upgrades its just about the best on the road, as far as vintage iron goes! Keep the updates coming!

Sorry I havent checked my posts in a while. I need to get this to notify me. I spend most of my time on the sohc4.net forums. They arent too creative for the most part.

Here is some pics of my bike at the co op and my apartment. A lot of little things have been done. I am in the process of ordering new fork lowers and tubes and thinking about some cheapie chinese rear shocks unless anyone can recommend soem off a newer bike that I might find at a junk yard or on ebay. I am also in negotiations with a guy to rebuild my swing arm with a lifetime warranty. There is about a 1/4in play left to right and it makes it unsteady at highway speeds

The co op is in Austin and its just freaking sweet. A bunch of guys get together and work on their bikes. Tools and beer and a few guys that know everything.

here is a middle shot of changing exhaust gaskets.

sorry if thats huge or the wrong aspect.

I painted the exhaust collars green, just for fun.

again, sorry if thats huge.

heres one of the tank, need to do something about the little bit of rust in there.

heres one before I took off the grab bar.

I have a feeling these links are bad, you should be able to right click on the pictures and view them in a new window.

So right now I am looking for examples of people that have made their own idiot light setup. My tach is busted and so I think I will get a bicycle computer and some LEDs from oznium and make my own little dashboard. I want to get a voltmeter in there somewhere, just looking for the right one.

my right hand control is also busted so I would like to move a couple switches to this theoretical dash so that I have a kill switch and headlight switch. Might also get a small starter button over there as well.

I have a better Idea on how to do all of that, wiring is a pain on this bike though. I am thinking about how to get all that where the tacho is right now while deleting the tacho and the small dashboard I have on the handlebars. I might just use a sheet of metal cut down and put it in the same spot as the tacho, or look around at plastic enclosures. I have read the LEDs that are prewired from Oznium dont have very flexible wires coming out the back, so I might have to order all that then see what I am working with.

any links or insights are appreciated.
