Hi everyone, I've been lurking around here for a while now and finly pulled the trigger on a buying a project bike. I picked up a 1973 CB350 that I plan on doing a cafe build with but first I'll have to get it running right and get it registerd.

Its in pretty good shape. I currently rebuilding the carbs, cleaning all the rust out of the tank then Ill need fix the front break which seams to be frozen. Any advice would be great as Im new to all of this.

Nice bikes!!

The CB looks like a great base to mod, its in awesome shape..

As for the front brake, I'm very unsmart when it comes to brakes ha ha..Someone else can help ya out tho I'm sure

Its always cool to see another CT Member. I am from Woodbury.

For the front brake I would get some rebuild kits for the master cylinder and the caliper and flush the system out. All the info you need is on here somewhere you just need to find it!

Welcome to the club man. Replace the brake lines, and rebuild the caliper. Great looking bikes though! Very nice.
 
Seymour, CT here. Welcome. Nice bikes, hope to meet ya and ride. Looking forward to your build. By the way I go to Valley Motorsports in Ansonia for most things and ebay for the rest. Those guys are experts especially on these older machines. -MBS
