New Member / VW Convert

Hey all

New member from Southern California, just bought this 71 CB350 twin.

I've been into air cooled VWs for years and have owned a small handful. Excited to learn about bikes, maintenance, etc. and get out there and ride.

For reference, here's two of the VWs I owned and worked on. The tan one is a 69 Squareback and the green one 68. Both OG paint. 1641cc motor in the 69 and a 1904cc in the green one.

Cheers, thanks. Just picked up this beautifully patina'd tank for the bike as well. Internally it is nice and (relatively) clean.

I bought the bike off a shop owner that specializes in building CBs, so he's going to be giving the bike a solid once over and getting it in running shape.
