Just became a member. Heard from the XS-650 Forum that this was a good site. Built my first café racer in 1968 from a nearly new wrecked Suzuki X-6 Hustler 250. Been at it ever since. Retired last Jan. after 35 years teaching motorcycle mechanics down here in Florida. Started racing karts in '67 raced them for 8 yrs, then road raced bikes for 16 yrs and then ran bikes for landspeed records for 8 yrs with the ECTA. Started up my one man shop last Feb. specializing in caferacers and vintage road racers. Check out my web site. It is nothing fancy but makes the point. reedspeedcaferacers.com.
