Hey folks! I just found this site through other sites like sohc4.net, and other old school honda forums. I had a 78 cb750k last year, that I've since traded for a 82 nighthawk 650, cafe'd that bitch, traded it for a 96 vfr750 streetfighter, and sold it to pick up the most recent victim---a 1971 cl350.
Right now it is pretty stock except it has cb pipes and K&N filters.It is in pretty damned good shape save the tank (hella rust chunks came out in the BB bath) I got it to run on both cylinders, but there is a pretty loud tap in the right cylinder, and it blows smoke on acceleration.
I usually try to get a bike running well before I hack it all to pieces...so that's first on the agenda...I'm trying to stick to a 1000 dollar budget, and I paid 300 for it so there you have it! I'll try and get some pics up tonight...
