Hello everyone,
Although I'm not exactly new to DTT, google has brought me to this lovely forum multiple times ;D, I am a recently new member.
A little backround on myself: My name is Jason, I am 19 years old and am currently a Mechanical Engineering student at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. I have a 1975 Honda cb360 and I love the fact that my bike is older than me
. I am on hondatwins and have spent a lot of time on this forum until I finally decided I should register and I'm sure glad I did because I have been just reading and learning as much as I can. The intelligence of some of the members intimidates me so I try to keep my mouth shut and not comment on things unless I know what I'm talking about :-X. Also the posts you will see from me will most likely have horrible grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I like Math not English lol.
Info on my build: I bought my cb360 for 200 dollars after it sat for um-teen amount of years. I am currently rebuilding it to make a cafe racer mixed with a new school sport bike type of look. Well my build is put on hold because of cash (I commute to school so money goes to gas and insurance). So I am using school time to keep my build alive and am attempting to recreate my bike using solidworks and some good old hand drawings. This way when I have extra money I have a visual picture to go off of. I plan on relocating the shocks and battery. Also make the bike kickstart only and simplify the wiring. Eventually I would like to do the gs850 piston swap and take this bike to the track. I know there is more I want to do just cant think of it off the top of my head and I figure I'm not that interesting so I'll cut this here.
Sorry for not having any pics and eventually I will make a build thread hopefully soon. By the way, thanks to everyone here you have indirectly taught me a lot about motorcycles and my lovely cb360. Glad to be on DTT!!
