Hey all,
Stumbled upon this forum the other day looking for pictures of what everyone is doing in the style of cafe racers. I recently became the owner of a CB77 Superhawk.
I was a fan of the bike ever since I saw Serpico with Al Pacino. For those that need a refresher: http://twentyfourframes.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/serpico-lc-1a.jpg
I love the classic styling of the bike and plan on taking it the cafe route with my rendition of it. I've been cycle free since I gave up my 919 to start my own business so I'm just enjoying the ride at this point and taking care of a few loose ends on the bike. I'll be breaking her down this winter and doing a full restoration. In honor of the coolness that is Pacino, the bike will be called Serpico. I even managed to get SRPICO for my tag here in Georgia (limited to 6 characters).
Hope to make a few vintage meets in the future and look forward to hanging out on the forum and compiling ideas until my build starts.
