Hi all,

I wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm newly interested in motorcycles but not entirely inept when it comes to mechanical projects; I've spent the better part of 5 + years working on a 2.3 turbo swap into an '87 LX Mustang... which is juuust about done (finishing the exhaust then paint).

Being a young guy and going through the pain of building an entire car - I've decided that it'd be a hell of a lot more fun to go faster, cheaper and actually finish a build that's a lot smaller in the form of a bike.

I'll begin building up two projects in the next month or so; a 1979 Kawasaki KZ750 and a 1982 Kawasaki GPZ750, both cafe'd.

Looking forward to sharing the process as I move forward.

In the meantime feel free to check out a blog I've been maintaining, collecting ideas and thoughts re: motorcycles, cars and design since the last month or so: www.acrylicspeed.com

Best,

Wade

Welcome, Wade! Quite the eager beaver starting with two bike projects. Gets some pics up so we can see what your starting with.

I'll do my best but it isn't pretty.

The KZ frame is 3/4's sandblasted and I need to go pick it up, and the GPZ is hanging out at the side of my dad's shop.

Will get back with something to show soon.
