Newb from PA

I'm a guy from Northeast PA. I do not currently own a cafe but am very seriously considering getting one for my next bike. I currently own a 93 Katana 600 (streetfighter work in progress). I am completely drawn to the cafe race and am looking forward to learning a bunch from you folks!

I guess I will give a little more info and ask a few questions. I have a relative obsession with Triumphs and Nortons. I would like to get your folks opinion on the newer Thruxton (EFI) and the triumph performance parts that you can get for those. Some day I will be able to get another bike and didn't know what the feeling in the industry was. Secondly, I would also be interested in learning more about the classic Triumphs and Nortons I would be all ears. If you have some good links somewhere point me in the right direction and I will read away!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm from about 30 miles north of Scranton on I-81. Yes that's almost NY (I'm about 10 miles away from the border). I am a National Guardsman and am on orders at Fort Dix, NJ until July so I only get home on the weekends. Kinda sucks but at least I'm working! ;D
 
Welcome to DTT! All these PA folks... Its awesome! (im from the Pittsburgh area) Go VINTAGE! Old is always better when talking cafe style bikes IMO. New bikes are great, but not really what its about. To me anyway. Good luck finding something to chop up!
