Newbie from Nova Scotia

Hey everyone, Im from just outside Halifax N.S. I picked up my first bike a few weeks ago, she's a 79 CX500. I wanted to build an old bike rather then just go and buy a brand new one for two reasons.
1: The homeless guy on the corner has better credit then me
2: i wanted to learn. and i see no better way then to rebuild one from the ground up

I come from an auto mechanical background, where i found i learn the best by just diving in and getting my hands dirty. So i hope i can learn from you fine folks, and come out on the otherside of this build all the better for it. here's the link to my build, please dont hesitate to comment.

Welcome to the forum. Another Maritimer. I am in Moncton but originally from Saint John. I just road a round trip to WV gathering to meet a bunch of the great people on here. there is a load of guys and gals here that will help you out when stuck. A few have done some nice CX's. when you get her finished if you feel like a run come on up here and I will ride with you. I also come to halifax at least 1-2 times a riding season.
