Hello, I have loved cafe racers for a long time and just recently picked up a 77' XS500 (will post pics soon). I found this site about a week ago and like it a lot. I have a few questions and will post them in the Help section. I am looking forward to spending some time on here.

Love Ottawa. Going to be there in a couple weeks and 1/2 way there (Shannonville) tomorrow.

Hey Bill, wellcome, I live west of you, Almonte area. I have all kinds of xs stuff, mostly 650. I found this site a while ago, it has the best looking cafes and good people who always help.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I finally found the camera charger, so here are a couple pics. Don't make too much fun of the bars they are all I had laying around and I needed to get rid of the stock ones right away!!!!!

Ha! Those bars aren't too bad. When I got my Honda, I pulled the original bars off and used a cut up sissy bar!

Not recommended at all though.

they actually work pretty good, but I haven't put many miles on them yet. They are motocross bar turned end for end and turned upside down.
