Hi all.
So i joined this site years ago when i was on the hunt for a bike to strip down and do the cafe thing to. Due to a lack of bikes around at the time i ended up with a KLX250 which i motarded up and had a shit load of fun on for the last 2 years.
I have just sold the KLX and am looking for something to do the cafe treatment to.

I have 4 options that I am torn on!!

1. '76 triumph t140v
2. '78 XS650
3. '78 SR500
4. '78 CB750

What to do!! all running, registered and ride-able! which i need at the moment!

So pro's and con's anyone?

cheers

Well have narrowed it down to the triumph or the cb750... Getting there:) .

2 grand price difference!! Cb750 apparently has a decent leak from the head gasket... I test rode the triumph today!! Everything I thought it would be! Vibrates like hell, 3rd gear can be hard to place!! But looks sweet!!

You have them listed in the order I would put them from most desirable to least. YMMV

Decision made!! Just bought the bonnie!

Ended up with 3 boxes of bits and pieces, including clip-ons, mini gauges and 2 seat pans:)

Stocked!!
