Newbie!

Hey all, found this site thru some clicking of another board I frequent. Ever since I saw the cafe style I've been working on my bike to transform it. I've come aways slowly, and have been molding a nice seat from all the sweet tutorials on here!

So what do I ride? A 79 cx500. From what I've seen they don't get a ton of love on here, but I don't mind, it's my first bike and I love every minute of riding.

I only get to work on it when I'm home from college (WVU).

Started off as this horrible creation.

And slowly becoming something better.

Got my new bars put on but no time to run the new cables yet. Sadly I just had to order another pair as my parents were cleaning out the garage and pitched a brand new set of bars!

I think all bikes are welome here ;D the more you Caf'e it the more they welcome it PIC,s are a must...... Allso shelves make great safe storage with tags :

Welcome, from Ohio ! check out the cx in the show n shine. I got a deal on a 82 cx500 i just might have to snatch it up . the 2 that are on here are tooooo cool.

Thanks ya'll. Haha, yeah I saw that CX on the other CX forum I'm apart off. It's def. nice looking. I'll be happy when I get my cafe seat done though. That'll def make it look a million times better.
