Hi All,
My bike isn't a cafe racer yet but I hope one day she will be. My lovely and very understanding wife bought me a '72 CB350 K4K0 for my birthday last week. I've been drooling over pics of cafe racers for a while now (the June 2010 bike of the month is a good example) and she decided to let me do it. I know what you're thinking but, if you're married, you know what I'm talking about
.
The bike isn't road worth at the moment but it does run so I'm thinking it will be a great starting point for a complete tear-down/rebuild. I've never done this before but I'm looking forward to learning all the ins and outs. I thank you all in advance for answering all the stupid questions I'll have.
My daily rider is an '82 CB750F Supersport. It's mostly stock with the exception of 4-1 exhaust. I just can't get enough of the vintage sport bikes. In my opinion they just look way better than anything being made today. I'm sure I'll end up on a Goldwing someday but but I'm way too young for that now.
Cheers,
Arnie
